Vacation Volunteer
Do you need to get away? A great way to combine a vacation and sense of community to vacation to a place where you can volunteer your services. For example, if you are a carpenter, take a week to visit New Orleans and help rebuild and take in the city at night. There are plenty non-profit organizations out there that will plan the whole thing so it won’t be a logistics nightmare.
